Terni and the Valentinianan Events

The municipality and the diocese of Terni did a lot of initiatives for the occasion of the St Valentine celebrations 2010. the celebrations for the patron of Terni and of the lovers have been recognized all over the world.

From the 19th January to the 7th march, forty-four days of music, arts, spectacles, sport, seminaries, religious celebrations . Almost hundred appointments that have like protagonists the citizen associations, involved in the culture, in the social problems and in sport. The Briccialdi institute, Visioninmusica, the Teatro Verdi orchestra, Cantamaggio, d’Armonia orchestra, the municipal library, the Rugby from Terni, the fencing circle, the regional judo committee, these are only some of the actors who participate under the artistic direction of Folco Napolini. There will be the local experiences with the contamination of national and international appointments. This year the St Valentin price will be for the archbishop of Cracow Stanislaw Dziwisz; he was the secretary of the Pope Giovanni Paolo II for 27 years. Among the events above cited, there will be also the gala for the Haiti victims, the tribute to the Bee Gees, the spectacle: Valentinianan emotions with Mogol, the “sconcerto rock” with Gene Gnocchi, the Gala of St Valentine, the musical opera about Serapia e Sabino, the concert of Franco Califano, the concert of Briccialdi: the price of the flautist and more…”.

What else? Anything, but this is one the most beautiful period to visit Terni.
